My Story
My two boys were bundles of energy, always on the move. Back then, I'd been working as an office manager for years, but I knew I needed a schedule that could flex around their activities. So, I began by assisting my elderly neighbors, lending a hand when they were unwell or needed occupational and physical therapy. Soon enough, this evolved into a comprehensive range of services: grocery shopping, meal preparation, banking, home organization, and cleaning. I even helped them find the right maintenance professionals.
As time went on, I found myself not just handling their daily needs but also managing their social calendars, arranging card game luncheons, and even helping with holiday meals for their families. Before I knew it, I had a roster of clients that provided me with a steady income and, most importantly, the freedom to be there for all my children's activities.
When my sons started college, I made the move to sunny Florida and transitioned into caring for the elderly there. But then, through word of mouth, an incredibly high-profile elderly woman got wind of my services. She offered me the role of House Manager/Personal Assistant, a position I took on with great enthusiasm. Eventually, she relocated back to Massachusetts to be closer to her family, and that's when I decided to embark on my journey of entrepreneurship, launching my own business!
